校内各教学单位：
学校于2016年5月16日—6月3日期间开展“肯塔基、女王大学教学周”活动。届时来自美国肯塔基大学、女王大学的八位教师将为我校本科生开设8门通识类课程。教师教学发展中心在“肯塔基、女王大学教学周”期间邀请三位教授为全校教师做两期教学工作坊。现将第一期工作坊通知如下：
一、工作坊主题
主题1：Developing Innovative and Engaging Courses: Theory to Practice
主讲人1：Rita Basuray
Last year the teacher introduced the concept of Team Based Learning (TBL) and donated a book on this subject to the JLU Library. Using TBL as a guide, the workshop will explain how innovative courses can be developed to enhance student engagement. The workshop will also provide practical examples of teaching and learning, all of which can be applied to unique in-class courses in multiple disciplines, from the humanities to the sciences.
主题2：Innovation and Entrepreneurship within an Engineering Program
主讲人2：Shahram Yousefi
In this workshop, we discuss how a successful engineering curriculum can be designed to provide opportunities to foster innovation and entrepreneurship at no cost to the technical content.
We consider foundational training for entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and social entrepreneurship where students learn to be engineers, managers and entrepreneurs all at the same time. The learn how to fail and how to build "anti-fragile" organisms to add harmony and generate wealth.
